THE NEW SPIRIT
(1943)
Original production cel of blotter character
on original production background of Donald Duck’s income tax form.
It shows Donald’s address, income, his dependents (Huey, Dewey and
Louey-that’s how they spelled them in the film, the first time their
names were written on film.) It shows their relationship to Donald
was a legal adoption. An interesting piece of Donald Duck history.
In a special Disney mat with the “Original WDP” logo and the title
of the film written small. The mat size is 17 l/2 x 14 7/8”, the
artwork showing is 8 l/4 x 10 l/4”. The original background has
these Disney stamps on the reverse: the unpublished property stamp,
the Production, Sequence, Scene and Same as stamp (filled in), the
initialed Final OK stamp. There is a handwritten notation as well:
“Sc.55”. The background has been five-hole punched. |
