"Cartoons Under the Stars"
Evening Held by Disada

To celebrate the opening of the Heritage Museum’s exhibition on Disada animation, the museum and Disada sponsored an event titled
CARTOONS UNDER THE STARS.

On the large museum’s grounds the public enjoyed classic Hollywood cartoons films (not videos) projected on a huge screen placed on the side of the main building. People brought their own blankets and lawn chairs the nighttime screening. Over a dozen door prizes (outdoor prizes?) were donated by Famous Players, and lucky attendees received free movie passes, posters and other prizes. Everyone received a 35mm strip of actual movie film from the latest Disney animated feature LILO AND STITCH.

The evening was so successful that we are thinking of a repeat evening with different cartoons.
