Heritage Museum's exhibition
"When Drawing Come To Life - 30 Years of Disada Animation"
is NOW OPEN

The Heritage Museum in Smith’s Falls, Ontario has opened a major exhibition titled
WHEN DRAWINGS COME TO LIFE: 30 YEARS OF DISADA ANIMATION.

The museum approached Disada over a year ago to highlight its animation with original artwork, artifacts, videos etc. Hardy curator Tamara Taylor visited Disada regularly over the next year to select the exhibits from tens of thousands of stored material and she survived to emerge with an amazing collection of items showcasing Disada animation and comic strip productions. As an added bonus, some of Disada’s collection of original Disney, Warners, Fleischer, Tex Avery and other Hollywood animation is also on display, along with cartoon memorabilia from the silent era to the television era.

The exhibition started August 3rd and continues until November 10, 2002. For information on times, etc call the Heritage Museum at 613-283-6522 or email them at hhmchin@superaje.com. The museum is located 40 minutes southwest of Ottawa
